The band Teegarden b is the latest musical evolution of Kelu, Philippe and James.

For around fifteen years, accompanied by many friends, they have revisited with their compositions the styles of music that they have appreciated throughout their respective careers.

The previous bands, The Architects of Misfortune and Rosemary & the Brainless Idols, were inspired by English and American pop of the sixties. The songs written for Teegarden b, while remaining in the continuity of the two previous projects, have a musical color closer to the following decade.

The folk, rock and pop influences of the three partners are assembled, transformed, mixed during the composition and recording of the pieces. But each song follows its own thread, its own development without constraint of resemblance to this or that model, nor of belonging to this or that chapel.

And if some of them resonate or echo, it is thanks to these assumed influences as well as an undeniable amusement in recalling, in the texts or in the music, certain references to titles from the past without ever falling into copying the style or imitation.
